Park View vs Valley (Mar 27)

What a game! Everyone was on the edge of their seats going into the seventh inning when Park View was behind 2-1. Megan Smith comes up to bat smashes a single into left field. Coach Walker puts #3, Megan (Speedy) Watson in to run for Megan Smith! One out later, "Speedy" has advanced to 3rd base on a throwing error by Valley's catcher. Coach Walker then puts Kelly McDermitt in to bat for Amanda. Kelly lays down the most perfect sacrifice bunt you have ever seen. Valley's 3rd baseman checks the runner and makes the throw to first but speedy Megan Watson was on her way to score the tying run.

In the 8th inning, Cheryl Wilson bats for Ashley and forces an error out of the 2nd baseman. Jamie Gallihugh bats for Kim and hits to left field for a single. The top of the order, Kristen, bunts and gets on when the pitcher chooses to throw to third to get Cheryl out. Jennifer then hits a hard one to the pitcher who could not quite field it and Jennifer is on at first, Kristen on second and Jamie on 3rd. Here comes the powerhouse, Karie Morrison! Karie smacks a deep left field double... Jamie scores and Park View wins the game (3-2)!!
