Park View at Handley (Apr 3)

This game wasn't close like the last one but it WAS exciting. The entire team got to play as they batted around 5 times in this 18-0 victory. Karrie Morrison pitched a no-hitter with 12 strike-outs!

Kristen Miller started the run-fest in the first inning with a bunt single. Then Jennifer Forsythe hits a single, Karrie Morrison gets a walk, Megan Smith gets a fielders choice, Sheryl Wilson hits a single and Megan Watson hits a single for a total of 5 runs scoring.

Handley then held the Patriots until the 5th inning when Megan Smith got a walk and was brought home when Caitlin Trask hit a single. We scored 3 more runs in the 6th with Ashley Shifflett getting a single followed by Jennifer Forsythe who was hit by a pitch and then, Karrie Morrison smacks an inside the park Home Run!

The 7th inning was the best with 9 runs scored. Ashley Shifflett leads off with another single and was followed by two outs. With the two outs Jennifer gets a single, Karie gets a single and Megan Smith bashes a triple. She's followed by Veronica Skinner who hits another triple (to end Veronica's slump—hurrah!!) Then Catie gets another single, Ashley (up for the 2nd time this inning) gets walked and Jamie Gallihugh hits a single.
